What’s Included in the fee?
One of the first things you’ll want to know when visiting a care home is how much it costs to stay there, and what’s included in the fee.
A good care home should provide transparent and structured pricing, highlighting precisely how and when the money is collected.
You should also ask if a deposit is required and if the fees are reviewed on a yearly basis.
We carefully prepare care plans to fulfil individual care needs; care plans are reviewed frequently and audited periodically, to maintain high standard of care.
Relatives are invited to participate in care plan reviews as and when required.
What does my loved on get in their bedroom?
You will be shown a room on your viewing of the home. All rooms come with a bed, mattress, side table, wardrobe, relaxing arm chair. We have ensuite rooms available as well. We also provide a TV connection and unlimited Wi-
We are also happy to accommodate your favourite piece of furniture from your home upon a request. We encourage Service Users to personalise their rooms with their items from home. Please be aware expensive or precious items are kept at the Service Users own risk.
How are meals prepared? What about snacks, tea or coffee etc?

What activities to you offer?
You should, therefore, seek to understand the range and quality of these activities. We have an activity person who keeps the Service Users active during the day. We also have external entertainers visit the home on a regular basis.
From time to time we take our residents out for outings, encouraging them to get out & about to socialise and enjoy some fresh air.
When can I visit?
Visits from family members can be vital to the mental health and happiness of residents. Visitors are always welcome but please be mindful during mealtimes as staff could be busy delivering meals and assisting other Service Users.
You can celebrate your birthdays, anniversaries, etc in the home and our conservatory can be pre booked for a special occasion if required. We also encourage Service Users to go out with relatives & friends whenever possible.
Please seek advice from the Nurse in Charge prior to going out.
What is the notice period?
If a Service User wishes to move nearer to relatives, friends or realises that the home is not suited to them or may even want return home or go to another facility. In these instances, written notice must be given, the notice period being 28 days.
How will you manage and administer their medication? What happens if they become unwell?
We have qualified nurses to look after Service Users medication, this is dispensed at specific points during the day or night or as prescribed.
We have dedicated software to keep a track of our resident’s medication and medical conditions.
